Description The plaque is a section of a frieze showing a procession. At the right is a dancing satyr carrying a basket, followed by a maenad with a staff. The upper border is carved with bead-and-reel decoration. The sides are squared, and the right lower corner is broken.
Provenance Dikran Kelekian, New York and Paris [date and mode of acquisition unknown]; Henry Walters, Baltimore [date of acquisition unknown], by purchase; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
