Description Conservation Provenance Inscription Credit
Description A rectangular plaque displays an oval wreath of laurel leaves enframing a device composed of a pair of wings and a scroll inscribed: SVB VMBRA TVARVM [alarum]- a free rendering of verse 4 of Psalm 90, translated: "He will overshadow thee with his shoulders: and under his wings thou shalt trust." The scroll and wings are white; the ground lapis blue; the laurel leaves green, with clusters of fruit at the angles and fillets in amber color. In the corners sprays of leaves are indicated in gilding.
